Was their an event that changed niley forever?

Ok, so when I was listening to the full version of “before the storm” ( aka the new niley duet) I was like “Doesn’t this sound like something i’ve already heard before?” All of a sudden a lightbulb goes off- YES! This is the same scene that Miely is describing in her song – 7 things , which was suppose to be a rant about how much she hated/liked Nick Jonas and them being in the rain and having a “fight”. Here are the lyrics to both song, what do you guys think?

The song is called Before The Storm – but, in their case, shouldn’t it have been called “After The Storm”?
